The Roses Theatre, Tewkesbury, invites all music aficionados, performing arts enthusiasts, and community supporters to their Festive Fundraiser on Thursday 28 December at 8.30pm. The event aims to generate funds crucial for sustaining community programmes at the venue.
Join The Roses Young Creatives and our special guests—the beloved pantomime cast, staff and crew—for an unforgettable evening. Indulge in an enchanting blend of music, laughter, and entertainment, all generously performed by a lineup donating their time to make this event truly magical.
Even after we sell every ticket it needs to raise a further £230,000 to support programmes and projects for Tewkesbury’s vibrant community.
To many, it’s more than a place for a great night out. It’s a home away from home; somewhere to learn, grow and flourish; and a place to be together.
Last year, we launched The Roses Young Creatives and it’s since helped 100 children and young people across Gloucestershire find their stage; all learning to master a range of technical and performance skills. Beyond the spotlight, the dining area becomes a place for relaxed social groups including a weekly knitting group, quiz night, open mic nights, bingo and board game camaraderie – to name a few! But more some, The Roses is more than having fun, offering a range of singing sessions to help those with long-term health conditions.
“The Roses Theatre is the cornerstone of Tewkesbury’s community. Your support is pivotal in raising substantial funds for our charity, ensuring the continuation of our community projects, which strive to remain accessible to everyone, either free or at minimal cost. Notably, last Christmas, our Buck Up Backstage campaign triumphantly gathered £10,000, earmarked for replacing eight asbestos doors next month. This year, we aspire to surpass this achievement and further enhance our contributions to the community.”
